San Fransisco’s head-on collision injures driver
According to a California Highway Patrol incident log, on Monday, April 9th 2018, at approximately 3:46 p.m., at least one person was injured ensuing a head-on collision involving at least two vehicles on the southbound State Route 1 and northbound State Route 35 connector in San Fransisco.
In addition, the report stated that a black Toyota Rav4 and grey Nissan were the vehicles involved in the car accident. Moreover, both vehicles resulted in major front-end damage, as stated by officials.
Transition Road was blocked by the police department unit as authorities worked to clear the accident and a tow truck was required for the vehicles involved in the accident, as stated by CHP.
Furthermore, it is unclear how many were injured, but at least one person was transported to a nearby hospital by paramedics due to complaint of pain on the neck and back. Moreover, authorities have not yet released any information on the injured party at this time.
Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.
