Hit-and-run car collision kills one person on Main Street near Cottonwood Avenue in Hesperia
According to a local news article, one pedestrian was killed after a hit-and-run car crash on Main Street near Cottonwood Avenue in Hesperia around 7:45 am, Tuesday, April 17th, 2018.
As mentioned in the report, the San Bernardino County fire department responded to the crash and found the pedestrian lying in the roadway.
In addition, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene, article mentioned.
It is unknown at this time if alcohol and or drugs were a factor in this incident.
Several lanes of traffic were blocked as authorities worked to clear the accident and a tow truck was required for the vehicles involved in the accident, as stated by authorities.
In addition, it is unclear how many were injured, but at least one person was transported to a nearby hospital by medical personnel. Authorities have not yet released any information on the injured party at this time.
Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.
