Motorcycle-involved accident in Sherman Oaks
According to a California Highway Patrol police report, on Wednesday, April 18th 2018, at about 12:13 p.m., at least one person was injured ensuing a motorcycle-involved traffic collision on the southbound of Interstate 405 near Ventura Boulevard in the city of Sherman Oaks.
In addition, the report stated that a motorcycle and a blue compact car were the vehicles involved in the traffic collision that occurred in the HOV lane on the southbound of 405 freeway just north of Valley Vista, according to officials.
Several lanes of traffic were blocked as authorities worked to clear the accident and a tow truck was required for the vehicles involved in the accident, as stated by CHP.
Furthermore, there was at least one person injured as a result of the crash and paramedics arrived shortly after the incident occurred to transport the injured party to a nearby medical facility. It is also unknown whether or not there were passengers in the vehicles involved in the crash. Additionally, the identity of the injured person has not been released yet, according to officials.
Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.
