Car collision on Olde Highway 80 near Flinn Crest Street in El Cajon injures one bicyclist
According to a local news article, on Tuesday April 17th, 2018, around 3:15 pm, one person was injured after a car crash occurred on Olde Highway 80 near Flinn Crest Street in El Cajon.
Reportedly, a Toyota Sienna was driving eastbound on Olde HIghway 80 when the car drifted to the right and struck the Alpine man, mentioned the article. In addition, the driver of the vehicle involved in the incident was identified as a 67-year-old Spring Valley woman, mentioned the officials. The vehicle involved in the collision was identified as a 2016 Toyota Sienna, article stated.
In addition, the car reportedly also hit a bus stop sign and a parked F-150, report mentioned.
It is unknown at this time if alcohol and or drugs were a factor in this incident.
Several lanes of traffic were blocked as authorities worked to clear the accident and a tow truck was required for the vehicles involved in the accident, as stated by authorities.
In addition, it is unclear how many were injured, but at least one person was transported to a nearby hospital by medical personnel. Authorities have not yet released any information on the injured party at this time.
Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.
