Hit-and-run injured motorcyclist on the intersection of Appian Way and Valley View Rd in El Sobrante
As mentioned by a California Highway Patrol police report, on Tuesday, April 24th 2018, at about 11:53 p.m. a motorcyclist was injured as a result of a hit-and-run accident that took place on the corner of Appian Way and Valley View Road in the city of El Sobrante.
Furthermore, authorities stated that a motorcyclist was struck by a white Hyundai, which fled the scene of the accident. The rider was found in at a local Pho restaurant when officials arrived, according to CHP.
In addition, the motorcyclist was transported to a nearby hospital by paramedics, however the condition of the injured victim is unknown at this time. Authorities have not yet released any additional information on the injured party.
Currently, this incident is under review in an ongoing investigation by the authorities, and further details will be reviewed and released to the public as it is determined.
