Car collision on 80 Freeway near Raley Boulevard in Sacramento injures at least one person
According to a local news report, on Friday morning, April 20th, 2018, at about 6:56 am, a car collision injured at least one person on the 80 Freeway near Raley Boulevard in Sacramento.
As mentioned, the authorities arrived on the scene to find a truck in the center divider and a van on the right-hand shoulder, stated the report.
In addition, the Sacramento firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene to help at least one person who had minor to moderate injuries, article mentioned.
It is unknown at this time if alcohol and or drugs were a factor in this incident.
Several lanes of traffic were blocked as authorities worked to clear the accident and a tow truck was required for the vehicles involved in the accident, as stated by authorities.
In addition, it is unclear how many were injured, but at least one person was transported to a nearby hospital by medical personnel. Authorities have not yet released any information on the injured party at this time.
Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.
