Collision involving multiple vehicles on southbound I-680 Freeway leaves hazards blocking highway lane in Pleasant Hill
According to a California Highway Patrol police report, on Thursday, April 26th 2018, at about 4:05 p.m., a multiple-vehicle collision involving three vehicles occurred on the southbound Interstate 680 over Monument Blvd. in the city of Pleasant Hill.
Initial reports identified a white Ford Ranger, a grey Chevrolet, and a black sedan as the three vehicles involved in the accident. All vehicles were reported to be on the roadside, said the report given by authorities. At the same time, another collision occurred at the same location between a blue Honda and a white SUV.
The third lane of traffic was blocked as a result of the second accident and authorities are working to clear the accident and wait for a tow truck for the vehicles involved in the accident, as stated by authorities.
Furthermore, it is unclear if there were any injuries as a result of the collision.
Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.
