Car accident on US 101 Freeway in Studio City just west of Laurel Canyon Blvd leaves at least one person injured
According to a California Highway Patrol police report, on Thursday, April 12th 2018, at about 8:56 p.m., at least one person was injured ensuing a traffic collision involving two vehicles on the eastbound US 101 just west of Laurel Canyon Blvd. in Studio City.
In addition, the police report did not disclose the descriptions of the two vehicles involved in the traffic collision.
The fourth lane of traffic was blocked as authorities worked to clear the scene of the accident and a tow truck was required for the vehicles involved in the accident, as stated by CHP. All vehicles were moved to the roadside by authorities while they awaited assistance.
Furthermore, there was at least one person injured as a result of the crash and paramedics arrived shortly after the incident occurred to transport the injured parties to a nearby medical facility. In addition, the identity of the injured person or persons has not been released yet, according to officials. It is also unknown whether or not there were passengers in the vehicles involved in the crash.
Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.
