Several lanes blocked ensuing multi-vehicle accident on the 57 north freeway in Brea
According to a California Highway Patrol police report, on Monday, April 9th 2018, at about 11:45 p.m., at least one person was injured ensuing a multi-vehicle traffic collision involving four vehicles on the northbound of State Route 57 and on the eastbound of Imperial Highway in the city of Brea.
In addition, the report stated that a white Honda CRV, Lexus Rx330, Ford E250 van and a small sedan were the vehicles involved in the multiple traffic collision.
Several lanes of traffic were blocked as authorities worked to clear the accident and a tow truck was required for the vehicles involved in the accident, as stated by CHP.
There was at least one person injured as a result of the crash and paramedics arrived shortly after the incident occurred to transport the injured parties to a nearby medical facility. In addition, the identity of the injured person or persons has not been released yet, according to officials. It is also unknown whether or not there were passengers in the vehicles involved in the crash.
Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.
