Motorcycle crash ejected passenger off of motorcycle
According to a news report from the San Diego Tribune Union, on Sunday, April 1st 2018, at about 6:00 p.m. a woman passenger of a motorcycle was seriously injured as a result of a single motorcycle accident that took place on Nimitz Boulevard near Atascadero Drive in the city of San Diego.
Furthermore, the news article stated that a 51-year-old man driving a 2017 Harley Davidson motorcycle hit a curb, went on a sidewalk, crossed over lanes of traffic and struck the center median. Moreover, the accident ejected the 52 year old woman off of the motorcycle and caused an open fracture on one of her legs, as stated by the news report.
In addition, the motorcyclist and the passenger was transported to a nearby hospital by medical personnel, however the severity of the injured rider and passenger are still unclear. Authorities have not yet released any additional information on the injured victims.
