Two killed in a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 41 and Highway 46 in Cholame
According to keyt.com, a car crash occurred Friday April 6th, 2018 on Highway 41 and Highway 46 in Cholame around 6:00 am, taking the lives of two victims.
California Highway Patrol identified the two victims who were killed in the car crash as Catherine Ann Fox of Paso Robles and Jesus Ontiveros of Tulare, stated the officials.
In addition, the report stated Fox was driving eastbound on Route 46 and made an unsafe turn into the westbound lane causing a collision with a Nissan, then with a Toyota Minivan. The collision caused Toyota Minivan to lose control and crash into a Chevy pickup.
Several lanes of traffic were blocked as authorities worked to clear the accident and a tow truck was required for the vehicles involved in the accident, as stated by authorities.
In addition, it is unclear how many were injured, but at least one person was transported to a nearby hospital by medical personnel. Authorities have not yet released any information on the injured party at this time.
Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.
