Four car collision led a vehicle down the embankment
As mentioned in a police report by California Highway Patrol, on Monday, April 2nd 2018, at about 1:57 p.m. at least one person was injured as a result of a traffic collision that involved several vehicles on the westbound Interstate 105 near Long Beach Boulevard in the city of Lynwood.
In addition, authorities reported that a red Mustang, Gray vehicle possibly a Chrysler, beige vehicle possibly a Hyundai, and a fourth vehicle not described in the report were the vehicles involved in the collision that resulted in injuries. The accident caused a vehicle to go down the embankment, as mentioned by officials. Moreover, CHP reported that a woman was found laying on the ground outside of her vehicle.
All lanes were blocked as authorities worked to clear the accident and a tow truck was required for the vehicles involved in the accident, as stated by CHP.
Furthermore, it is still unclear how many were injured, but at least one person was transported to a nearby hospital by paramedics and authorities have not released any information on the injured party at this time.
