A two car collision causes a fire and at least one victim injured in Los Angeles
Los Angeles County Fire Department officials responded to the fiery aftermath of a two car collision on the eastbound SR-60 near South Soto Street on Wednesday afternoon, April 4th 2018, according to a California Highway Patrol incident log.
Initial reports stated that there was smoke coming from a Black Scion at approximately 4:39 p.m., however the situation escalated and both vehicles were fully engulfed, according to the report. In addition, the Los Angeles County Fire Department was dispatched to the scene of the accident.
There was at least one person injured as a result of the crash and paramedics arrived shortly after the incident occurred to transport the injured parties to a nearby medical facility. The identity of the injured person or persons has not been released yet, according to officials. It is also unknown whether or not there were other passengers in the two vehicles involved in the crash.
The investigation into this crash is still ongoing. Further details will be made available as soon as it is released to the public.
