Traffic collision injured at least one person on Highway 4 west of Pacheco Blvd in Martinez
According to a California Highway Patrol police report, on Monday, April 2nd 2018, at about 6:02 a.m. at least one person was injured as a result of a traffic accident that took place on State Route 4, just west of Pacheco Boulevard in the city of Martinez.
Furthermore, authorities reported that a red Ford F-150 and a silver Honda CRV were traveling eastbound on SR-4 when the collision occurred. The Honda was left blocking the fast lane of the highway after crashing, as stated by CHP.
In addition, it is unclear how many people were injured, however at least one person was transported to a nearby hospital by paramedics. Authorities have not yet released any additional information on the injured victim.
Currently, this incident is under review in an ongoing investigation by the authorities, and further details will be reviewed and released to the public as it is determined.
