Car crash hospitalized at least 1 person on the 5 Freeway south of Oceanside Blvd in Oceanside
As mentioned in a California Highway Patrol police report, on Thursday, March 29th 2018, at least one person was injured as a result of a traffic collision that took place on Interstate 5, just south of Oceanside Boulevard in the city of Oceanside.
Furthermore, authorities reported that a green Subaru Outback and a white Merceds-Benz 4Matic along with three other vehicles not described in the report were the vehicles involved in the accident. The collision caused damages to the rear-end of two of the vehicles, according to CHP.
In addition, it is unclear how many people were injured, however at least one person was transported to a near by hospital by paramedics. Authorities have not yet released any additional information on the injured victim.
Currently, this crash is undergoing review by officials as they work to determine the exact cause and liable party of the collision. Further details will be available at a later time once the investigation has concluded.
