Hit-and-run collision hospitalized at least one person on the 10 Freeway east of Fremont Ave in Alhambra
According to a California Highway Patrol police report, on Wednesday, March 28th 2018, at about 5:48 p.m. at least one person was injured as a result of a hit-and-run accident that took place on Interstate 10, just east of Fremont Avenue in the city of Alhambra.
Moreover, authorities mentioned that a blue Nissan Altima a black Lexus and another vehicle that fled the scene were traveling eastbound on I-10 when the collision occurred. The Nissan received major front-end damage and the party inside was complaining of back and neck pain, as stated by CHP.
In addition, it is unclear how many people were injured in the crash, however at least one person was transported to a near by hospital by paramedics. Authorities have not yet released the name or age of the injured victim.
Currently, this incident is undergoing review by authorities as they work to find the vehicle that hit-and-run. Further details will be made available at a later time once officials have concluded their investigation.
