Vehicle collision resulted in injuries on the 80 Freeway near the Carquinez Toll Plaza in Vallejo
According to a California Highway Patrol police report, on Monday, March 26th 2018, at about 11:59 p.m. at least one person was injured as a result of a traffic collision that took place on Interstate 80 near the Carquinez Toll Plaza in the city of Vallejo.
Furthermore, authorities mentioned that a Jeep and a Nissan were traveling eastbound on I-80 when they crashed into each other. The accident caused one of the vehicles to spin around and ended up facing the wrong-way, as stated by officials.
In addition, it is unclear how many people were injured, however at least one person was transported to a near by hospital by paramedics. Authorities have not yet released any additional information on the injured victim at this time.
