Traffic accident hospitalized motorcyclist on the 405 Freeway south of Cherry Ave in Long Beach
As mentioned in a police report by California Highway Patrol, on Tuesday, March 20th 2018, at about 8:03 a.m. a motorcyclist was injured after being struck by a vehicle on Interstate 405, just south of Cherry Avenue in the city of Long Beach.
Moreover, authorities report that a truck ran into the motorcyclist when they were traveling northbound on I-405 in Long Beach. The freeway was blocked for several minutes while officials worked on clearing up debris, as stated by CHP.
In addition, the motorcyclist was transported to a near by hospital by paramedics, however the condition of the injured rider are unknown at this time. Authorities have not yet released the name or age of the injured victim.
