Injuries ensue traffic collision on Highway 15 near University Ave in San Diego
As mentioned in a police report by California Highway Patrol, on Wednesday, March 14th 2018, at about 2:44 p.m. at least one person was injured as a result of a vehicle collision that took place on State Route 15 near University Ave in the city of San Diego.
Furthermore, authorities did not give a full description of the vehicles involved in the collision but did report that two vehicles were driving southbound on SR-15 before crashing into each other. The accident caused the vehicles to block the fast lane of the 15 Highway, as stated by officials.
In addition, it is unclear how many people were injured, however at least one person was transported to a near by hospital by paramedics. Authorities have not yet released any information on the injured victim at this time.
Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash. Further details will be reported at a later time once the investigation has concluded.
