At least 1 person hospitalized in DUI accident on the corner of Sierra Vista Ave and Belmont Ave in Fresno
According to an article from the Fresno Bee, on Monday, March 12th 2018, at least one person was injured as a result of a DUI traffic collision that took place on the intersection of Belmont Avenue and Sierra Vista Avenue in the city of Fresno.
Moreover, officials reported that 28-year-old Martin Juarez is suspected of driving under the influence after he slammed into two cars and two light poles. Juarez along with his passenger, 37-year-old Carmen Mejia fled the scene of the collision but were later located by police several miles away, as mentioned in the article.
In addition, it is unclear how many people were injured, however at least one person was transported to a near by hospital by paramedics. Authorities have not yet released any information on the injured victim at this time.
