Ambulance was called following a car accident on Interstate 880 and Montague Expressway in Milpitas
According to a police report by the California Highway Patrol, on Wednesday, March 14th 2018, at least one person was injured ensuing a traffic accident that involved two vehicles on Interstate 880 at Montague Expressway off-ramp in Milpitas.
Officials have reported that a Mazda CX5 and a Lincoln Navigator collided by the Montague Expressway off-ramp on highway 880 causing no blockage for on-coming traffic. Triple A was called onto the scene to assist with both of the severely damaged cars, as stated by the CHP.
As stated by officials, a shared request for paramedics and the local fire department was called to help out with injuries experienced by both parties and to take precautionary measures to the damaged cars. In addition, it is unclear how many people were hurt, however at least one person was transported to a nearby hospital by paramedics. Authorities have not yet released any information on the injured victims at this time.
Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.
