Ambulance was called after 3 car collision occurred on 125 freeway in La Mesa California
According to a California Highway Patrol police report, on March 14th 2018, at about 8:20 p.m. at least one person was injured as a result of a three car accident that took place on State Route 125, near Spring street in La Mesa.
Authorities mentioned in the report, that two Collisions happened on Highway 125 Wednesday night when two unknown vehicles collided with each other causing a blockage in the middle lanes of the freeway. According to the log, a white Honda Accord collided with the unknown vehicles and was stopped just north of the original accident. As stated by the officials, the white Honda Accord needed a “traffic hazard” to prevent on-coming traffic from hitting the existing wreck.
In addition, Fire Department was called on scene and arrived shortly after the collision to assist and help out with the injured parties. It is unclear how many people were injured but at least one person was transported to a near by hospital by paramedics. Authorities have not yet released any information on the injured party.
Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.
