Car accident on the 405 Freeway north of Interstate 10 in Los Angeles resulted in injuries
As mentioned in a police report by California Highway Patrol, on Tuesday, March 13th 2018, at 2:09 p.m. at least one person was injured as a result of a traffic collision that involved several vehicles on Interstate 405, just north of the 10 Freeway in the city of Los Angeles.
Furthermore, authorities report that a silver Hyundai, a grey Scion, a silver Mercedes-Benz and another vehicle were traveling southbound just before the collision occurred. The accident casued the vehicles to block the No.1 and No. 4 lanes of the freeway, according to CHP.
In addition, it is unclear how many people were injured, however at least one person was transported to a near by hospital by paramedics. Authorities have not yet released any information on the injured victim.
Currently, this incident is undergoing review by officials as they work to determine the exact cause and liable party of the collision. Further details will be available at a later time once the investigation has concluded.
