At least one person injured in traffic accident on the 80 Freeway west of American Canyon Rd in Vallejo
According to a police report from California Highway Patrol, on Tuesday, March 12th 2018, at 6:18 p.m. at least one person was injured ensuing a car accident that involved several vehicles on Interstate 80, just west of American Canyon Road in the city of Vallejo.
Moreover, authorities mentioned that a BMW, a Honda Accord, a silver sedan and two other vehicles, were the cars involved in the collision that resulted in injuries. The BMW was seen traveling recklessly and hit speeds up to 95 MPH on I-80 before crashing into other vehicles, as stated by officials.
In addition, it is unclear how many people were injured, however at least one person was transported to a near by hospital by paramedics. Authorities have not yet released any information on the injured party at this time.
Currently, this incident is under review in an ongoing investigation by the authorities, and further details will be reviewed and released to the public as it is determined.
