At least one person injured after multi-vehicle accident on Highway 101 near Francisco Blvd in San Rafael

According to a California Highway Patrol police report, on Monday February 12th 2018, at about 6:28 p.m. a traffic accident involving multiple vehicles left at least one person injured on Highway 101 just south of the Francisco Boulevard off-ramp in the city of San Rafael.

In addition, a Nissan Pathfinder, an Infinity SUV, and an all wheel drive Audi were the vehicles that were involved in the accident, as reported by CHP.  The Infinity SUV did receive major front end damage as a result of the collision all three vehicles did require a tow after the collision.

Furthermore, at least one person was injured and transported to a near by hospital, however the condition of the injured party is unknown at the time.

This car crash currently remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the accident.  Further information will be reported at a later time once the investigation has concluded.
