Late night collision kills pedestrian in Isleton
A vehicle crashed into a pedestrian on Isleton Road in Isleton at approximately 4:45 PM on Tuesday, according to CBS Sacramento.
A pedestrian was killed when he suddenly appeared in front of a vehicle going west on Isleton Road, according to authorities. The driver tried to avoid the pedestrian but could not. Both the vehicle and the pedestrian ended up down the embankment of the road.
The pedestrian received fatal injuries in the accident and died, according to sources.
Authorities currently do not believe DUI to be a cause of the crash. Also, officials note that the area was dark at the time of the crash.
