Car accident leaves one victim trapped in wreckage
According to a recent California Highway Patrol report, there was a car accident that occurred in El Cajon in the afternoon on Tuesday at the intersection of Jamacha Road and Helix Street, injuring at least one person.
The accident was reported at 2:27 p.m. on Tuesday at the intersection of Jamacha Road and Helix Street in El Cajon.
Furthermore, California Highway Patrol officers stated that there were three vehicles involved in the crash, although the descriptions of the vehicle make and model were not clear in the report. One party was reportedly drinking before the accident, sources said.
After the impact of the collision, CHP officers and paramedics responded to the accident site and found that one person was trapped inside one of the vehicles. Police cited that they sustained minor injuries in the incident.
It remains unclear at this point the identity of those who were involved in the car accident.
Currently there is an ongoing investigation to determine the cause of the crash as well as the liable party.
