South Valley car crash in Hillman and Cartmill Avenues results in 1 dead and 1 in critical condition
According to ABC 30, On Saturday afternoon, Servando Garcia crashed into 2 vehicles at the intersection of Hillman and Cartmill Avenues resulting in a one death and one seriously injured victim.
The crash occurred at about 3:30 p.m. when officers arrived at the scene of a three-car crash. Upon arrival, two victims were found seriously injured. Both the 13-year-old and the 21-year-old were transported to the hospital, reported the article. The 13-year-old reportedly succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital. Currently, the second victim, a 21-year-old, remains in grave condition.
According to authorities, Tulare Police arrested Servando Garcia who was deemed under the influence of alcohol. Garcia has been charged with vehicular manslaughter, DUI, and driving on a suspended license.
Currently, this crash remains under investigation and further details will be reported at a later time.
