At least one injured in a multi-vehicle collision in East Los Angeles on Rush St. and San Gabriel Blvd.
According to the California Highway Patrol report, authorities responded to a multiple-vehicle collision on April 1st, 2018, at approximately 2:24 PM, on the intersection of Rush St. and San Gabriel Blvd. in east Los Angeles which left at least one individual injured.
Police report states that there were three vehicles involved in the incident: a silver Toyota Camry, a silver Toyota Prius, and a black Lincoln Navigator. Despite heavy traffic at the time, authorities reported that there was no blockage of any lanes as a result of the accident. Tow trucks were required for transporting of the vehicles involved in the accident.
In addition, it is unclear how many were injured, but at least one person was transported to a nearby hospital by paramedics, as stated on the police report. Authorities have not yet released any information on the injured party at this time.
Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.
