Suspected DUI Driver and an Innocent Driver Injured and Hospitalized
According to a news report from Onscenevideo.tv, a suspected drunk driver ran a red light and crashed into another car on Jeffrey Road off of Northbound I-405 in Irvine.
The accident was reported at 10:35 a.m. on Wednesday, April 4th 2018, said the article.
Furthermore, a Good Samaritan named Brian Rios called 911 and conveyed information about the suspected drunk driver’s erratic driving. Brian Rios had been following the suspect for about five miles, according to the report.
After the impact of the collision, paramedics responded to the accident and both drivers were treated at the scene and taken to the nearest hospital.
It remains unclear at this point the identity of those who were involved in the car accident.
Currently there is an ongoing investigation to determine the cause of the crash as well as the liable party.
