At least 1 person injured in hit-and-run accident on Highway 87 south of W Capitol Expressway in San Jose

According to a California Highway Patrol police report, on Sunday, April 1st 2018, at about 1:32 p.m. at least one person was injured as a result of a hit-and-run collision involving a blue Honda Odyssey and another vehicle on SR-87 near the center divider just south of W Capitol Expressway.

Based off police report, a witness was present on scene with the victim, later identified as Ghandi Sachin. The injured party was transported to a nearby medical facility by paramedics. Furthermore, a description of the other vehicles involved were not stated in the  police report, but did mention that authorities were searching for the suspect.

Currently, this incident is under review in an ongoing investigation by the authorities, and further details will be reviewed and released to the public as it is determined. Further details adhering to the victim will be updated as provided as well.
