Traffic accident left at least one person injured on the 215 Freeway near Box Springs Rd in Riverside

According to a California Highway Patrol police report, on Thursday, March 1st 2018, at 8:04 p.m. at least one person was injured in a car crash on Interstate 215, just north of Box Springs Road in the city of Riverside.

Furthermore, officials report that a Mercedes-Benz a Honda and a Toyota Camry were the vehicles involved in a traffic collision that resulted in injuries on Interstate 215.  One of the vehicles was “completely destroyed” and a male appeared to be suffering from injuries sustained in the accident.

In addition, at least one person was transported to a near by hospital, however authorities have no word on the condition of the injured victim.

Currently, this incident is undergoing review by officials as they work to determine the exact cause and liable party of the collision.  Further details will be available at a later time once the investigation has concluded.
