Women Killed in Car Crash on Alfred Harrell Highway

On Saturday, February 27, 2016, a Bakersfield women was killed in a single-vehicle car crash on Alfred Harrell Highway and Lily Drive. According to ABC23, the crash occurred shortly after 2:30 p.m.

CHP officials have confirmed that the Kern County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched a report of a reckless driver near Hart Park. It’s a possibility that the women was driving fast and lost control of her vehicle and rolled over. When the park rangers arrived, they found a white Kia sedan on it’s side. The

The unnamed women was ejected from her vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. CHP said it is suspected the woman wasn’t wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. It is unknown at this time if alcohol or drugs were involved.
