On April 15, 2016, an argument between a mother and daughter leaves one dead in the Toys R’ Us parking lot in Santa Maria, California. According to Santa Barbara Noozhawk, 34-year-old, Brandy Wilson was found unresponsive under the vehicle when authorities arrive to the scene.
Investigators determined the pair was arguing, when the mother, Kimberly Wilson, 55, the driver of the green Jeep Grand Cherokee, accelerated quickly in reverse. This caused Brandy to be thrown from the passenger door and run over. Brandy succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Kimberly Wilson reportedly lived in the vehicle. Brandy Wilson’s city of residence was remains unknown at this time.
