Visalia, CA (April 4, 2020) – On pedestrian was killed and another was hurt in a crash that took place in Visalia on Thursday, April 2nd. The crash happened in the 1700 block of North Bridge Street around 8:45 p.m.
According to reports, two pedestrians were walking in the roadway when they were struck by a vehicle. The events leading up to the crash have not been determined at this time. Rescue workers arrived at the scene shortly after the crash and pronounced one of the pedestrians dead. The other pedestrian was taken to a local hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. Officials have not released the identity of either of the victims.
An investigation is underway at this time and no further details are available.
