Victorville, CA (March 17, 2020) – A pedestrian suffered injuries during a collision with a motor vehicle on Monday morning, March 16th, according to police. The accident happened on Valley Center Drive in Victorville at around 8:45 a.m.
Officials stated that the operator of an SUV pulled out of a parking lot near 7th Street and struck the victim who was crossing the roadway. Medical responders arrived at the scene where they rushed the seriously injured victim to a nearby hospital. The victim was then airlifted to a trauma center.
At this time, police stated that the victim suffered severe head trauma. The driver remained at the scene but there has been no word on any charges. Investigators are piecing together the events that led to this incident.
