Pedestrian accidents take place multiple times per day in California. Injuries are very common in a pedestrian crash as a pedestrian is extremely vulnerable when they are struck by a vehicle. Deadly crashes involving pedestrians take place about once every two hours in our state. Many fatal pedestrian crashes happen at night or in the early morning hours when visibility is the lowest.
