Temecula, CA (January 4, 2020) – A man died in a crash that took place in Temecula on Friday, January 3rd. The collision was reported around 12:25 a.m. on Highway 79 near Anza Road.
According to officials with the California Highway Patrol, 23-year-old Geordon Pollette was involved in a crash between a red Toyota and a Mitsubishi Lancer. The Lancer exploded into flames following the collision, pinning the occupants inside the vehicle. It is unclear exactly how the crash took place.
Pollette died from his injuries sustained in the accident. Two others were hospitalized for treatment of severe injuries.
