Santa Maria SUV Overturns on Highway 166

On March 25, 2016 a large SUV hauling a trailer, loses control and overturns on Highway 166 near Santa Maria, California. According to Santa Barbara Noozhawk, California Highway Patrol responded around 1:00pm. to calls that a family of seven in a Chevrolet Tahoe suffered minor to no injuries. The family included, two adults and five children, reports state the occupants exited the vehicle before emergency personnel arrived to the scene.

None of the occupants were taken to the hospital and refused treatment at the scene. Reports state the collision caused the east and west bound lanes to be blocked, but one was cleared and opened shortly after. California Highway Patrol are still investigating the cause of the collision.
