Santa Clarita, CA – Victims Pinned in Rollover Crash on 14 Fwy near Newhall Ave

Santa Clarita, CA (April 1, 2020) – Several people were trapped inside a vehicle after a serious accident along the 14 Freeway in Santa Clarita, according to authorities. The crash was reported early on the morning of Sunday, March 29th, at approximately 12:34 a.m.

Officials with the California Highway Patrol stated that a silver Toyota Camry struck the center divider on the northbound side of the freeway, a little south of Newhall Avenue. The vehicle rolled over during the crash and emergency crews were dispatched to the scene.

The occupants were freed from the vehicle by responders with the Los Angeles County Fire Department. Paramedics worked to assist those involved but neither the number of victims nor their conditions were reported.

The events that led to this incident are under investigation.
