Santa Clarita, CA (December 20, 2019) – A collision that took place in Santa Clarita on Wednesday morning, December 18th, left a young child with injuries, according to police. He incident was reported to police at the intersection of Manzanita Lane and Jakes Way around 8:20 a.m.
Officials with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station stated that a child pedestrian was hit by an unspecified vehicle at or near the intersection. Paramedics arrived at the scene along with Los Angeles County Fire Department officials who found the child suffering from injuries at the scene.
The victim was transported to a local hospital to be treated for unspecified injuries. The events that led to this incident remain under investigation.
