San Diego, CA (March 14, 2020) – A pedestrian sustained serious injuries after being struck by a car in San Diego on Saturday, March 14th. The crash happened just after 1:30 a.m. on 17th Street near Imperial Avenue.
According to authorities, a vehicle ran off the road, struck a pedestrian and then crashed through a fence. The pedestrian sustained serious injuries in the crash and was taken to a local hospital in unknown condition. The car was towed away from the scene. Neither the pedestrian nor the driver were identified.
The cause of the crash is not known at this time. An investigation is underway.
