Fatal Accidents in California

Due to the extreme vulnerability of the victim at the time of impact, pedestrians are at a higher risk of suffering serious or even fatal injuries during an accident with a motor vehicle. In fact, pedestrian accidents in California have been reported to make up 11% of all California motor vehicle accident deaths. This is particularly true when the victim is a child or the accident involves a high-speed vehicle such as a motorcycle.

Unfortunately, fatal accidents can occur at any time, subsequently leaving loved ones with not only the pain and suffering of losing a family member but extremely high expenses as well. While it may be difficult, it is important for both victims or a bereaved family to understand that they likely have significant rights at this time.
