San Bernardino, CA (October 27, 2019) – A motorcycle crash in San Bernardino sent one person to the hospital on Saturday, October 26th. The crash happened around 8:18 p.m. near the intersection with Interstate 215.
Reports indicate that a black 2014 Yamaha motorcycle collided with a van. The California Highway Patrol, along with rescue workers, responded to the scene. The motorcyclist, who has not been identified, was taken to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center. No one else was hurt in the accident.
The reasons surrounding the crash are not known at this time.
Our thoughts are with the injured victim in hopes of a complete recovery.
There are nearly 500 deaths attributed to California motorcycle accidents every year. Additionally, thousands more will suffer injuries in these crashes, many of them serious in nature. Motorcycle accidents happen for a variety of reasons, including failing to yield, speeding, impairment or distraction. Police will continue to investigate this accident and determine the cause and which driver was responsible. In the meantime, we hope that the injured victim has a complete recovery.
If you have suffered injuries in a California motorcycle crash, it is imperative to speak with an experienced California motorcycle accident lawyer right away. You should never speak with an insurance company or attempt to settle the case on your own until you know your legal rights. Too often, crash victims will sign off on a quick settlement which is valued at far less than what their case is worth. This creates an unfortunate situation where you cannot seek further compensation for your injuries or future medical treatment.
