Pasadena, CA – Man Critically Injured in Crash with Train at Allen Station

Pasadena, CA (October 18, 2019) – A man was struck and injured by a Gold Line train in Pasadena early on Friday morning, October 18th. Police confirmed that the accident happened at the Allen Street station around 3:08 a.m.

According to authorities, the victim was hit by the train and ultimately ended up trapped. Firefighters were dispatched to the scene where they promptly worked to extricate the man. The victim was immediately transported to a nearby hospital where he was listed in critical condition.

Paramedics also examined the conductor of the train at the scene but no further information was reported. The cause of the pedestrian-train collision is under investigation.
