Pacoima, CA – Luis Sosa Killed in Hit-and-Run on Glenoaks Blvd.

Pacoima, CA (February 8, 2020) – A pedestrian was killed following a hit-and-run crash that happened in Pacoima on Thursday, February 6th. The crash was reported at the intersection of Glenoaks Boulevard and Desmond Street around 8:15 p.m.

According to authorities, 44-year-old Luis Sosa was walking near the intersection with Glenoaks and Desmond Street when he was hit by a new model burgundy SUV. The SUV fled the scene just after striking Sosa and headed eastbound on Highway 118.

Sosa suffered critical injuries and died as a result of the crash. The suspect was later apprehended by police but their identity has not been revealed at this time. No further details have been released regarding the crash.

An investigation remains ongoing at this time.
