Los Angeles, CA (November 25, 2019) – Two motorists were injured in a collision that took place at around 10:35 p.m. on Sunday night, November 24th. The crash, which involved a tow truck, happened at the intersection of Western Avenue and 82nd Street in the Manchester Square neighborhood of Los Angeles.
According to officers with the Los Angeles Police Department, a tow truck and a red Chevrolet sedan collided at or near the intersection. Firefighters responded to the crash site where the female driver of the Chevrolet was pinned in the wreckage.
Both drivers were transported to a nearby hospital with unspecified injuries. The cause of this incident is currently under investigation.
Our thoughts are with the injured victims at this time. We hope for full recovery.
Distracted driving, among other factors such as high speeds, commonly contribute to severe and even fatal collisions. In fact, research has recently found that more than 3,000 California car accidents resulted in fatalities during 2017, alone.
After an unexpected accident, the costs of hospital bills alongside continued physical recovery and lost wages repeatedly results in a claim for compensation by many victims. During such an unfortunate time, we firmly believe that those who have carelessly caused the suffering of other people should be held accountable for their actions.
