Los Angeles, CA (March 18, 2020) – Authorities with the California Highway Patrol stated that an unidentified man was hit and killed in South Los Angeles. The fatal auto-pedestrian collision was reported at around 3:05 a.m. on the morning of Sunday, March 15th.
According to officials, the victim was struck by a 2019 Lexus NX300 in the area of the Harbor Freeway and Vernon Avenue. Emergency crews arrived at the scene where the victim was sadly pronounced deceased.
The driver involved remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. The investigation into this crash is ongoing.
