Los Angeles, CA (November 14, 2019) – On Monday evening, November 11th, a pedestrian was fatally struck by a motor vehicle along the Interstate-110 at El Segundo Boulevard. The incident happened in the Harbor Gateway neighborhood of Los Angeles at around 9:57 p.m.
According to officials, the driver of a pickup truck hit a pedestrian, only identified as a male in his 30s. All southbound lanes of the Freeway were shut down following the collision as paramedics and police arrived at the scene.
The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. The events that led to this incident are actively under investigation.
