Los Angeles, CA (February 2, 2020) – Three people sustained injuries in a crash that took place in the South Park area of Los Angeles on Saturday, February 1st. The crash happened around 12:40 a.m. near Vernon Avenue and Broadway.
Troopers with the California Highway Patrol responded to the crash scene. According to reports, there were at least two vehicles involved in the collision. One of the vehicles involved a Los Angeles Police Department Patrol car. Two LAPD officers and a person in the second car sustained injuries in the crash and were transported to a local area hospital.
No information was provided on the cause of the crash and there is no update on the injured victims at this time.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing and there are no additional details available at this time.
